About Us

Karen Rupke graduated from the University of Western Ontario in 2000. Since graduating, she has worked exclusively in orthopedics, and has completed her Intermediate Certificate of Manual and Manipulative Therapy. She has also completed various orthopedic related post graduate courses including Lyn Watson’s shoulder Level 1 and 2, Acupuncture Level 1 and 2, McKenzie spinal courses and David Butler neurotransmission.  She has a special interest in shoulders, feet, and lower extremity bio mechanics particularly running injuries.

   
Laura Libby graduated from the University of Western Ontario in 1990. She has received her Diploma in Sport Physiotherapy and Certificate of Intermediate Manual and Manipulative Therapy, She has completed post-graduate courses in the McKenzie technique and Acupuncture Level 1. Laura has experience working with international, national, provincial and local level athletes in a variety of sports including rugby, gymnastics, skating and hockey. She has worked both on field and in clinic with the athletes. She has done extensive orthopedic and sports related post graduate courses including Fit for Golf, Bike Fit, Fit to Play and Perform and ImPact Test-Sport Concussion Seminar.
 
  Bob Lyeo graduated from the University of Toronto with a degree in physiotherapy in 1999. He went on to further develop his skills with additional post-graduate courses including McKenzie training, Sahrmann muscle balance, and numerous courses through the Orthopedic Division of the Canadian Physiotherapy Association, of which he is a member. He successfully completed the Intermediate Orthopaedic and Manipulative Physiotherapy Examination in 2005, and is now a Resident of the Canadian Academy of Manipulate Therapists. He looks forward to challenging the Advanced examination in the near future. Bob's current focus of practice is in the outpatient orthopedic setting, and he believes that a professional, active and client-centered approach is the best road to achieving optimal outcomes in rehabilitation.
 
  Jodi Bussiere graduated from McGill University in 1993, from the Faculty of Physical Therapy. Jodi has worked in both the hospital and private practice settings. She is a Resident of the Canadian Academy of Manual and Manipulative Therapists, and has achieved her Diploma in Sport Physiotherapy. Jodi is involved in curriculum planning and teaching at the Faculty of Physical Therapy at The University of Toronto. She works as a Sport Physiotherapist at various sporting events, and will be part of the Short Track Speed Skating Medical Team at the 2010 Olympics in Vancouver, B.C. Jodi will be joining our team March 2, 2010 after returning from the Games.
